The service
BlurThis is a free website that lets you blur or cover parts of a screenshot in your browser and download a PNG. You do not need an account. Use of the site means you agree to these terms.
Your content
Images you open in the editor stay on your device. We do not receive, store, or license those files. You are responsible for what you download and share afterward.
Acceptable use
Use the tool to protect privacy in screenshots you are allowed to edit. Do not use the site to commit fraud, hide evidence you are legally required to keep visible, or harm others.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. A blur is not always irreversible. For numbers, passwords, and similar secrets, a solid black bar is safer. We are not liable for leaks from files you share, for downtime, or for ads shown by third parties.
Ads
Some pages may show advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar networks. Ads are not placed on the screenshot canvas. See the privacy policy for cookies and third-party ads.
